What the petition asks

All MPs who leave their party while in office should by law be made to stand in a by election. The electorate voted for them on their election promises and that of their party. The electorate should then be given the chance to vote again.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
