What the petition asks
To drive the adoption of electric vehicles and help the UK hit its carbon targets the government and private business must embrace the EV market and support owners of EV's by improving the charging infrastructure through legislation for car parks over 100 spaces to have 10% of bays electrified.
Increasing this network will also increase green investment in the UK from charge networks and energy suppliers.
Jobs will be created to support the larger networks of chargers.
More young drivers would like to adopt an EV: https://theswindonian.co.uk/news/technology/the-futures-green-as-young-drivers-back-ev/
