Bring Shamima Begum home to the UK

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Shamima Begum is a 19 year old mother who should be brought home to her family. Shamima was the victim of IS grooming at the age of 15. After experiencing the trauma of the deaths of 2 children, Shamima's priority is the safety of her newborn son. She deserves the chance of rehabilitation in the UK.
As a result of online grooming, three 15 year old girls traveled to Syria in 2015. One of those girls is dead, another is missing. The third, Shamima, is asking for forgiveness and to return to her family. Shamima is a young woman who has seen and experienced terrible things. She needs to be supported not rejected. On Saturday, Shamima gave birth to her son; she is asking for rehabilitation and to raise her son, as British, with the support of her family. Let's give Shamima that chance.
