What the petition asks
A member of parliament who is attached to a political party and is elected under a manifesto decides to resign the party must stand for re-election. The constituents that campaign and vote for the chosen candidate should have the chance to have a say on a future of the area.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
