What the petition asks

The death of every homeless person should be fully investigated and the facts should be presented to highlight the cause of death as well as factors that led the individual to become homeless in the first place. Please pray - Bible Verses- 2 Chronicles 7:14, John 8:32, Genesis 12:2-3

Kane Walker Law - Investigate the cause of death for every homeless person who dies and the factors that led them to become homeless. This will prevent the continuation of this cycle.
Where emergency services have been called, the ambulance crew must publicly state the time the call was received and how long the ambulance crew took to get to the patient. There should also be a maximum of 10 minutes to assess and stabilise the patient before heading back to hospital. All times must be logged.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because investigating deaths is the responsiblity of coroners who are independent of the UK Government and Parliament.

You could start a new petition calling for the Government to fund research into the causes of homelessness if that's something you would like to see happen.
