Remove unnecessary cosmetic treatments and sex changes from the NHS
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
The NHS is beyond stretched as it is and to top it off people just stretch it even more with unnecessary treatments, that if they so desperately want can pay for. Unless been in a horror accident there is no need for things like plastic surgery to be on the NHS
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition because we are not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
In particular, we aren't sure what you mean by "unnecessary". Cosmetic surgery or sex changes are only provided on the NHS if a Doctor has decided it is medically necessary.
