What the petition asks
During the lead up to the Brexit referendum our government informed the electorate that the result of the referendum would be honoured.
The electorate voted to leave.
Leave means to leave with or without a deal.
However, no deal should include anything that permanently ties the UK to the EU.

However, no deal should include anything that permanently ties the UK to the EU.
The referendum question:
Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?
The result:
Votes %
Leave 17,410,742 51.89%
Remain 16,141,241 48.11%
Valid votes 33,551,983 99.92%
Turnout 46,500,001 72.21%
As the result was to leave the EU, it is incumbent on all members of our government to implement the result.
Any current deal agreed between the UK and the EU must have a mechanism whereby it can be rescinded in all or part.
