Increase funding to the South Tees Hospitals Foundation Trust

Closed 94 signatures

What the petition asks

The South Tees Foundation Trust, which operate the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton are cutting back many services because they don’t have enough money, making the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton vulnerable.
Northallerton as a town is growing and the South Tees NHS Foundation Trust is making more cuts and making the local community fearful of the future of the Friarage Hospital. Already we have lost Mental Health, Maternity, Children’s Services and now we are set to lose A&E and Intensive Care. As a hospital which serves the largest garrison in Europe at Catterick and the rural farming community we simply cannot afford to lose this hospital and its vital services
