Stop the proposed closure of Coundon Road, Coventry by Coventry City Council.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Coventry City Council propose to Close the Coundon Road at the Railway junction thereby stopping all rights of way to and from Coventry Town Centre by this route.
Their explanation is to cut emissions levels in the area, however, there will be increased levels from the passenger and freight trains.
This is a decision that will have a massive impact on the people of Coundon and surrounding area's which appears to have taken no consideration of the safety of children walking to the surrounding schools and the large numbers of vehicles using the smaller roads as alternative routes to the main roads throughout the day.
