Have in-depth consultations with stakeholders when major roadworks are planned.

Local councils seem to begin major roadworks without any form of in-depth consultation and lacking in timely updates for diversions or progression of the works. Major roadworks disrupt commuters and residents. These people should have been sought out and been allowed to make their opinions known.

We can't accept your petition because this is the responsibility of local councils and not the UK Government or Parliament.
