Examine the benefits of Driver CPC - with a view to scrapping it

In my experience, the majority of commercial lorry drivers believe it is of no use and does not teach anything that they don't already know already and is in fact turning potential new drivers off from joining the industry.

Most drivers I know agree that the course is of no use to the industry and a waste of time and money and is of only use to the CPC course organisers. Many drivers are leaving the industry because of poor pay and conditions and because of the CPC.
