What the petition asks
There is public concern about the amount of money politicians are claiming, what they are claiming for and possible tax evasion. This needs to be reviewed independently and all politicians financial affairs be audited by the customs and excise. All politicians tax returns must be published online.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
