What the petition asks

While we sleep lights in shops and businesses illuminate quiet, darkened streets producing CO2 from the fossil fuels being burnt to power them. It's uneconomical and unnecessary. Turn off the lights.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make it a legal obligation for businesses to turn all lights off after close.
