What the petition asks
We need the option to deselect MPs in constituency's that don't respect the result of the referendum result. If we had MPs that believed in democracy and the voice of their constituency then we would have been able to move forward to break the impasse in parliament.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
Selecting candidates in a constituency is the responsibility of political parties, not the UK Government and Parliament.
