Stop the persecution of former servicemen and women who obeyed orders.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I am a former serviceman who is appalled at the treatment of Veterans who gave the following oath; I... swear by Almighty God... and will observe and obey all orders of Her Majesty, Her Heirs and Successors, and of the (admirals / generals/ air officers) and officers set over me.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

There's already a petition about immunity for soldiers who worked in Northern Ireland. You might like to sign this petition if it calls for something you'd like to happen. You're more likely to get action on an issue if you sign and share a single petition:

Immunity for soldiers who worked in Northern Ireland.
