This is a petition to stop private debt collection companies from operating

This is a petition to stop private debt collection companies from operating, or have them heaviliy regulated. They are killing people due to the untold stress and heart a h they cause. To date they have no more powers than your friend who knocks. However most say they can break in and take goods.

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

Private debt collectors have to be authorised by the FCA. We aren't sure how you'd like the regulations changed.
