What the petition asks
A referendum of the British people was held to decide whether Article 50, to leave the EU, should be invoked. The majority voted leave. The Government stated that the wishes of the people as demonstrated by the results would be respected.
Recent Parliamentry debates, amendments and votes have demonstrated that the politicians will not abide by the result of the referendum and will seek to delay or stop Brexit altogether
