What the petition asks
Lower the UK’s expenses.
Let MP’s know how the UK public feel.
MP’s need to understand what their own actions actually make to real people.

It appears that austerity measures only affect the working and middle classes. MP’s simply cannot understand that their actions create hardship and crime, at a time when there are less police to deal with it. So unless cutbacks affect MP’s how on earth could they hope to understand what the consequences are.
