What the petition asks
We believe that MP's that voted against their constituents should be forced to step down as MP for that area. 17.4 million people voted to leave the EU and our MP's should have respected their constituents voices.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for removing MPs from office due to their views or opinions.
How an MP votes would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
