What the petition asks

The Government have stalled on the referendum result for us to leave the EU.

The people who voted remain are trying to petition the Government for a second referendum, saying the leave campaign told lies. The stay campaign also lied. The people voted to leave. We should leave on June 29th or sooner. If the remain campaign had won, what would they be saying to those who voted leave if they were to ask for a second referendum?

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

We have received a large number of petitions in support of leaving the EU, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing. You are more likely to get action if you sign and share a single petition.
