What the petition asks
MPs are completely insulated from damage that the prolonged and unnecessary uncertainty is inflicting on the rest of the nation. They are elected to govern. Governing requires decisions. They should not be paid until they do what they are paid to do. End the uncertainty now!
Cancel article 50 and stay in, agree to May’s proposed deal and leave, leave with no deal, and every other possible option all have pros and cons but the simple truth is no one knows what’s best because no country has gone through anything similar and the future is always uncertain. So someone needs to make a decision and people elected and paid to do so are our MPs. Voting against proposals is not sufficient. Any petulant child can do that. If they want their pay the must vote for something!
