Exit the EU under WTO rules

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Implement operation yellowhammer - the governments default position in case of a no deal
Parliament have twice voted decisively against Prime Minister Theresa May’s terrible deal and also voted decisively against that deal coming back without any significant changes. With this in mind, the undersigned wish the government to implement Operation Yellowhammer, the plan to exit the EU without a deal with the EU via WTO rules. i.e. the default position as set out by government previously. The government has stated many times that plans are already in place or well advanced as the Hansard records show.
This would guarantee our sovereignty, our right to self - determination without any further interference from the EU political organisation.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

We have received a large number of petitions in support of leaving the EU, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing. You are more likely to get action if you sign and share a single petition.
