Do not betray Democracy - the majority voted to leave the EU therefore leave!

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

In 2016 we were all asked to vote on a once in a lifetime choice. Remain or leave the EU.
17.4 million (52%) of those that voted gave a clear mandate to the Government to leave the EU. Deal or no deal we employed MP's to do what we elected and pay them to do.

Yet, here we are three years late and yet the MP's who we pay have not done as they were asked. This has led the minority to think that they deserve to have us vote again and again until they win. This is not democracy.

If the people cannot employ MP's to do what they are instructed we need to sack them all and start again.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

We have received a large number of petitions in support of leaving the EU, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing. You are more likely to get action if you sign and share a single petition.
