What the petition asks
A predominately remain parliament are passing many amendments which seem to those of us who voted for Brexit, to be watering down and or thwarting what we voted for. We feel we are not being listened to here by parliament. That is we researched and voted to leave the EU. We expect that to happen.
We are seeing much objection, however, we voted in good faith and were promised that whatever the result, it would be honoured. It seems as though those politicians who voted to remain are forgetting that result. We voted people in our various constituencies to represent us in Parliament. Please remember that we voted in good faith, having researched and come to our conclusions. We are seeing this vote, being attempted to weaken and in some cases to be thwarted. Please don't ignore our votes.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
We have received a large number of petitions in support of leaving the EU, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing. You are more likely to get action if you sign and share a single petition.
