Bring an end to austerity.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The reduction in public expenditure is hurting the most vulnerable in society, putting pressure on Local Authorities to deliver front line services and creating a more unequal society. Bring an end to austerity & invest in our economy, towns and cities; and support the most vulnerable in society.
"there were 45,000 more deaths in the first four years of Tory-led efficiencies than would have been expected if funding had stayed at pre-election levels"
"newly published figures from the Office for National Statistics, Britain’s improvement in life expectancy has slowed at the fastest rate of any leading industrialised nation other than the free-market citadel of the United States. Since 2011, the rate of improvement for men has collapsed by over three-quarters; for women, an astonishing 91%"
