Turn our urban areas green; plant and maintain them through national initiatives

What the petition asks
Our Earth is becoming warmer, more environmentally precarious and we need to do our part by making our grey urban spaces greener. It is not a hard to implement and simply requires that we are willing to be diligent in our collective duty to plant and maintain the plants and trees needed.
Evidence supporting a drive for this resides in our climate, which is in dire need of our help. Our weather is getting more extreme and temperatures are set to rise at ever more alarming rates. We need change and this simple initiative, a drive on a national scale that only requires us to plant plants and trees to make our urban areas greener, would undoubtedly provide great help.
