Include question in any People's Vote to disqualify MPs who voted to hold it

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

In event of any People's Vote, include a second question asking whether MPs who voted for the PV should be disqualified from holding elected office for 15 years. Give the outcome legal effect, and ensure any citizen can enforce it through the courts.
The Brexit Referendum, and the two General Elections either side of it, gave a clear mandate to MPs. By ignoring this mandate, MPs have rejected the principles of democracy, and cannot be trusted to hold elected office.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for removing MPs from office because of their views or opinions.
