Parliament must honour the result of the 2016 referendum and exit the EU

In June 2016, the majority of voters chose to leave the European Union. The referendum was agreed by Parliament and MPs pledged to honour the result of the referendum. It is now Parliament's duty to undertake the United Kingdom's withdrawal from European Union when Article 50 reaches its deadline
