Give the public multiple choices if there's a Second EU Referendum

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Britain faces political crisis and economic damage because the 2016 EU Referendum campaign involved insufficient information about a range of possible choices and their implications. If there is a Second Referendum, there should be a range of outcomes for the public to choose between.
I have detailed the kind of Referendum wording that would clarify UK public opinion in a sharper way here: http://www.secondreferendum.co.uk

There needs to be a 2-stage form:

A. To choose between Leave and Remain.

B. In the event that most people want to leave, a further choice for everyone to show which option they prefer. For example:

1. A negotiated customs union deal.

2. The government's negotiated deal with the EU.

3. Leaving with no deal.

And possibly other options agreed by MPs.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

We have received a large number of petitions about a second referendum on EU membership, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing to happen. You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

You might like to sign and share one or more of these petitions.
