Recongise Endometriosis as a Disability

Endometriosis is a painful auto immune disorder in which causes tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — to grows outside your uterus. Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis. And can grow on other organs.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

Laws and policies, including the Equality Act and the PIP assessment process, don't list specific conditions and define them as disabilities. In most cases, it’s the impact that a health condition has on the person’s life that qualifies them for support or protection under the law.
