Petition · past parliament

Give all Brits a say in a new Brexit referendum, wherever they live.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Ex-pats lose their British voting rights after a certain period of time. Other countries maintain lifelong voting rights for their citizens. Leaving Europe whatever the "deal" will deprive Brits of many basic rights, including freedom of movement, and all the advantages that Europe has to offer.
There are no accurate figures on the number of Brits currently living in Europe, but if all of them had been allowed to vote, the 2016 results might have been very different.
