Bath Council to increase safety along footpath of River Avon to reduce deaths
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
If you live/work/study in Bath, you are probably aware of the number of people that have had their lives taken by the River Avon. Increasing the safety along the footpath (more streetlights, erecting higher fences) will reduce the amount of deaths that have happened over the recent years.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This is the responsibility of the local council.
