What the petition asks
The EU (Withdrawal) Act 2018 governs our exit from the EU states “exit day” is on 29.3.2019. After that day, the European Communities Act 1972 - which gives effect to EU treaty obligations in UK domestic law - will be repealed.
To extend A50 is illegal and must be challenged in HoC, HoL and Court.

It takes 2 - 4 weeks to pass/discuss an amendment to a binding legal bill in which it has to go through House of Commons and the House of Lords. This has not been discussed properly or legally.

Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
