Petition · past parliament
Bring in proportional representation so that we have representative politics.

What the petition asks
There are far too many party politics governing our political system and not enough consensus politics with politicians representing what is best for the country and the people who vote the politicians into power. The debacle over Brexit has shown that the British political system is broken.
Many other countries around the world use Proportional representation successfully and avoid politicians working purely for their party and not for their electorate. It brings about consensus politics and avoids the whole system being held to ransom by extremists of the political divide.
