What the petition asks

With the end of the tax year approaching and the failure of the DWP using the real time information (RTI) hundreds of people are again being forced into poverty. This is due to wages not being assessed correctly, leaving some with thousands of pounds in overpayments

Claims have been estimated by the DWP and the real time information provided by HMRC is not being used correctly or systems are down all the time. Our claim was started in November 2018 and even though at interview we provided wage slips, these were not entered. Our claim has been stopped and being assessed manually. We have now found we been overpayed and will have to pay it back even though we did everything correctly. We have seen on UC support groups that this is happening to many others
