Rule out a 2nd referendum and ensure the UK leaves the EU as soon as possible

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

On 23rd June 2016, the British public voted to leave the EU. It is crucial that this result is respected and implemented. People that are advocating a so-called “People’s Vote” are seeking to reverse the original result of the 2016 referendum. This must not be allowed to happen!
The 2016 referendum was the largest democratic exercise in British history but despite this, there are still many MPs that are seeking to frustrate and even block brexit happening altogether. This must not be allowed to happen as it would destroy the trust that the electorate have in our democratic system. We urge the government rule out a 2nd referendum IMMEDIATELY!

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

We have received a large number of petitions in support of leaving the EU, which are very similar to petitions that are already open. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one asking for the same thing. You are more likely to get action if you sign and share a single petition.
