I want to see government change the regulations regarding private bailiffs

What the petition asks
Up until now private bailiffs have been working on behalf of the HM Courts, however not following regulations and law as it’s known.
I want to see government change the regulations regarding how private bailiff companies can operate. I believe any bailiff acting on or for the courts should work directly for the HM Courts Service and not passed onto private bailiff firms who operate using harassment and threatening behaviours that clearly breaks rules and regulations and private firms are clearly ignoring legally issued notices.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You can find out more about how the regulation of different types of enforcement officers (formally known as bailiffs) has changed in recent years here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
