What the petition asks
Keyless entry cars are being stolen at an alarming rate causing owners to be out of pocket financially. Having to use insurance that they then have to pay for the next 5 years at an increased rate . They key less entry should be banned and changed .
I have had my car stolen recently and jaguar landrover do not take any responsibility for this and have said that there security is superior . Yet my car was stolen in less than 24 seconds .
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a matter for the courts.
You should take up your individual issue with Jaguar Land Rover.
You could start a new petition calling for an action that is the responsibility of the UK Government of Parliament, for example a ban on keyless entry cars in the UK or guidelines to manufacturers on keyless entry car security, if that's what you'd like to happen.
