Enforce silence, respect and courtesy in Parliament when a member is speaking
Rejected

What the petition asks
The behaviour of members of parliament when another member is speaking is archaic, disgraceful and an embarrassment to our great country. Normal uk citizens manage to work with colleagues they don’t agree with every day and are expected to act in a adult and respectful way, why can’t they?
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Maintaining order in the House of Commons is the responsibility of the Speaker of the House of Commons and not the UK Government or Parliament as a whole.
You could start a new petition asking that the rules of the House be changed to require silence when another MP is speaking if that is something you would like to see happen.
