Stop using parental income to assess student finance entitlements.

What the petition asks
I am one of many students who have been given the lowest student loan possible, all because my parents earn more than average. Just because some parents gain a healthy salary, this should not affect what us students get given as student finance to support our studies.
The student finance applications do not take in to account our guardian's outgoing expenses, which means that although they may earn a lot at face value, they do not necessarily have the funds to continue to support us with rent and any other living expenses. This needs to change.
