What the petition asks

There are currently 68 million refugees around the world and it would really help them if we could start letting in more every year than we currently do. We believe we have a duty to do so. We are a group of students at Hornsey School for Girls in north London who are campaigning to change things.

In 2017, the UK only let in approximately 7,000 refugees, which if you really think about it, isn’t that many compared to the numbers Germany admitted.
