What the petition asks
The public should be given the option to vote but not for any of the candidates. If ‘None of the above’ receives more votes than any of the other candidates, then the parties must field alternative candidates and the vote re-run.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
