Petition · past parliament
Suspend Brexit until a referendum on the deal to be delivered is approved.

What the petition asks
The 2016 referendum was unclear on what Brexit meant. The notion that the government is implementing the "will of the people" appears increasingly flawed. To resolve this we need a further referendum in which the people can express a view on the form of Brexit that the government will implement.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what sort of referendum you would like.
We have a number of open petitions calling for a referendum on EU membership. You might like to sign one of those instead.
