Commit to powering the UK with 60% renewable energy by 2030

What the petition asks
It is widely known that our current energy mix is unsustainable. The amount of greenhouse gases we produce will lead to a dangerous rise in sea levels, making parts of England uninhabitable in 80 years.
The government’s current target is to produce only 30% of the nation’s power through renewable sources by 2030. The EU has imposed a target of 32%.
