What the petition asks
Students across the world are mobilising and demanding action to combat climate change, we cannot let schools restrict the right of civil disobedience and prevent students from participating.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because it's the responsibility of schools to authorise absence, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government or Parliament to take specific action about climate change following those protests if that is something you would like to see happen.
