Hold a Compulsory Indicative Public Vote on Brexit

Closed 173 signatures

What the petition asks

The Government should urgently hold a compulsory indicative public vote (CIPV) ie an unique census, for all eligible voters. Votes will be on the same range of options as tabled recently for MPs, except option 2. The most popular choice is implemented. If no clear majority then Brexit is abandoned.
1/ The global commercial & political climate has changed since 2016. There are now different security, border control, economic, commercial & employment threats to consider & newly eligible voters
2/ Government & MPs should explain the huge business, economic & social concerns that the UK faces, locally and nationally, before the CIPV
3/ Brexit to be abandoned if no clear majority of votes for any CIPV option as this would indicate that the Public have reconsidered, after the facts.
