What the petition asks
This petition seeks to ensure that UK MPs respect the constitutional independence and the will of the people of the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey from the UK Parliament (unto which those Crown Dependencies have no elected representation).
It seeks to ensure Members of Parliament cannot lawfully seek to legislate on behalf of those jurisdictions without the express consent of the legitimate Parliamentary Assemblies of those Islands.
