Petition · past parliament

Deselect Anna Turley as MP for Redcar for ignoring the will of the people.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Anna Turley was elected as MP for The Redcar Constituency on the back of a Labour Manifesto promising to honour the result of the 2016 referendum. Anna turley has continually broken that promise and actively campaigns for a second referendum. We want the Labour Party to deselect her.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because it is not something the UK Government or Parliament is responsible for.

The selection of parliamentary candidates is the responsibility of their political party.
