What the petition asks
The US recently passed a law requiring airlines to record and report when they break or damage a disabled person's mobility aide (such as a wheelchair). The first record showed US airlines break 701 mobility aides a month. Over 25 a day.
I'm calling on parliament to pass a similar law in the UK.

Without my wheelchair, I would lose all my mobility, independence, and financial security. Wheelchairs are very expensive, and due to the nature of impairments often have to be bespoke, meaning replacing them takes time.
Disabled people deserve to be able to fly knowing their lifeline to society will be safe for use when they land. To address this, we need to know how bad the current issue is, and which airlines are the best/worst.
