Re-design the electoral system to accurately represent the wishes of the public

Closed 38 signatures

What the petition asks

The last three UK general elections have resulted in the greatest disparity of vote value in the history of UK Parliament. A vote for SNP had almost 20 times more value than a vote for Green, and a vote for UKIP had no value at all in terms of seat representation.
1. Hold education and engagement sessions across all constituencies with members of the public.
2. Hold a referendum with several electoral system suggestions.
3. Ensure that both houses are fully elected to represent our citizens fairly.
4. Ensure that voting representation becomes proportional in order to accurately represent the wishes of the public who are served by the UK Parliament.
